This is a brand new 1-1/2 HP 230V 1PH Franklin Electric Control Box.  The picture may not be of the exact box, but it will be exactly like it in every way.  We are a Franklin Dealer and these are "not" old or reconditioned stock; they are the most current model. 

The Franklin Control Box is designed for the Franklin Submersible Motor, but will often run other brands as long as you have matching voltage and HP rating.  There are a few exceptions of off-shore motors made for the box stores.  If you are not sure, let us know your motor P/N and S/N before ordering.
