The main characteristics of this type of material are high friction and consistency of performance especially with high disc temperatures. These characteristics guarantee excellent and uniform braking for the entire duration of the competition, making it less likely the occurrence of fading effects. For this reason, efficiency at low temperatures assumes less importance. These materials are not particularly suitable for road use.
