Repair to Carver P4 Space Heater UnitPlease note, this listing is for repair of your own heater unit, not supply of another one. I repeat THIS LISTING IS NOT FOR A HEATER SUPPLIED BY ME. Prior to continuing with this listing, please ensure that you have a stable 12V (11V-14V) supply into the 2 pin connector and a working gas supply to eliminate any caravan installation problems. To proceed, you will need to complete checkout then send me your heater unit. I will test / repair and send it back to you it'll normally take about 3-5 working days from sending it to postal return. We would advise not to use the parcel service "My Hermes" as we have had a high volume of units sent to us that have been severley damaged during transit. Please note this is our adivce and it is your responsibilty and choice which courier service you use.
Once you complete checkout, send the heater unit (Black plastic box) to me at the address below. Please do not send the wallswitch, wiring or any ducting, all I need is the heater unit. Ensure your gas supply is turned off or capped after removing the P4 heater. There may be additional costs incurred if the flue pipe and/or ducting is sent as we have premade boxes that are designed to fit ONLY the heater and not enough space for pipework. Ensure it is protected from normal postage handling as the unit is quite heavy and the plastic casing brittle. Enclose a contact telephone number with the unit. If you wish to discuss the fault prior to sending it then call me on the contact number shown later in the listing. Send to: A&R Electronic Developments Ltd The following conditions apply 1. If the outer plastic case is mechanically damaged / snapped or cracked we may not be able to economically repair it. 2. We will firstly subject your board to a full test. If, on arrival, the heater tests OK and we can detect no fault with the unit, we may request your wallswitch or other sections of the heater system, if still OK you will be charged a testing fee of £55. i.e I will refund you £60 from you original "Buy it Now" charge. Your tested unit will be returned to you. 3. If the unit cannot be repaired for reasons given above or other reasons then I will refund the full "Buy it Now" price and send the unit back to you untested. There are 2 return postage options. Standard courier is covered for £50 if you wish compensation up to £250 then select the insured service. If you require more cover then please call prior to purchasing the item. |
