Gateway Classic Cars of Las Vegas is pleased to present a 1972 Chevrolet Malibu SS Tribute in Muslim Blue with Black Vinyl interior.
The Chevy Malibu was produced from 1964 through 1978 and was the most successful model for Chevrolet with the Malibu being the top car through 1972.
This example in Mulsanne Blue was a frame off restoration and finished as a Chevelle SS Tribute with painted dual black hood and tail stripes. The SS theme is carried through the car with steering wheel, body badges, front and rear SS tail badges. The lustrous blue paint is matched to a fully refinished interior all in black that surrounds a beautiful center console auto shift panel. The matching black spoke alloy wheels are mounted to 255 60R 15 Cooper Cobra Radial GT Radials for a smooth yet sure grip when that power comes on.
The engine bay is complete and finished in black with a blue matching manifold hiding an updated fuel injection system for proper delivery of fuel for immediate starts and instant response under all conditions. An updated A/C system ensures the inside is as comfortable as the car looks from the outside.
The engine rebuild was completed three years ago on the LS 6.0 engine producing 700 hp and mated to a 4L80 rebuilt transmission with shift kit. The 12 Bolt rear end has a 3.73 gear ratio with a locker.
The overall finish of the car is done with a high level or attention to detail from top to bottom. This is how a Chevelle SS should be done even as a tribute which is high praise to highly prized vehicle.
If your looking for the car that caught your eye driving through the parking lot or passing you on the freeway back in the day then you have found your time machine. [ omitted ]. [ omitted ]. [ omitted ].
