Amtrak's Superliners were based on the famous Budd built Hi-Levels operated by the Santa Fe railroad, for their El Capitan all-coach train. Pullman Standard built 5 car types for Amtrak as part of Superliner I production run. These cars were a Coach, Coach/Baggage (combination cars with a secure baggage hold instead of lower-level seating) Sleeper, Diner and a Lounge Car. Model Information: Fully detailed interiors. Cars can be lighted with optional interior lighting kit (sold separately.) Finely detailed with prototype accurate painting and lettering. Free and smooth rolling trucks for maximum performance. All cars are equipped with Kato semi-automatic knuckle couplers. Amtrak Set B In The Phase "IVb" Paint Scheme includes the following cars:
