The materials used in this series have been carefully considered
selected and precisely coordinated.
The aluminum cone of the woofer is due to its hardness
and high natural resonance frequency ideally suited for a
detailed and extremely low-distortion playback.
The thickness of the membrane material is chosen so that
the stability for heavy bass attacks, but also the necessary one
Provides lightness for precise mids.
The so-called Cambridge surround, with the shape of an "M", provides
sure that the ECP-M4 even at high levels with the
associated high cone deflections nothing of
loses its precise reproduction.

The 25 mm tweeter with fabric dome and neodymium magnet
convinces with its warm sound and can do even the smallest
reproduce music details.
The membrane geometry offers a uniform directional characteristic
for excellent sound in a wide variety of installation situations.
In addition to the low weight of the cone, surround and voice coil
is above all the conscious avoidance of the use of ferrofluid
(cools, but also slows down the movement of the membrane)
responsible for making the tweeter so lively, spatial
and plays without discoloration.

The clean, crisp bass foundation and their level capabilities
the compos owe the powerful strontium ferrite magnets of the
Mid/Woofers. Details like the die-cast aluminum basket with
optimized temperature management, the butyl rubber surround,
a 2-layer copper wire voice coil on temperature-resistant,
electrically neutral polyimide voice coil former or the
Durable Connex spider with woven voice coil
cable underline the value of these loudspeakers.

At the heart of the systems are the crossovers:
The components are in intensive test series in the laboratory and in the
Vehicle designed to take over a
to achieve the best possible phasing of the tweeter and woofer.
The result is authentic-looking voices and instruments
especially their precise stage depiction with a
impressive spatial depth.

For increased installation convenience, the crossovers were in
separate housings for the high-frequency and low-frequency branches
divided up.
This enables easy installation at the original installation location,
without laying new cables across the vehicle. The
Crossover components have a high quality to the music signal
influence as little as possible.
In the direct signal path only air coils,

The tweeter level adjustment is done in three stages
