Double gear for digital VDO speedometers from various vehicle manufacturers

The gear offered is one of 6 different double gears for digital VDO speedometers.
These differ in the number of teeth on the smaller gear. The number of teeth on the larger gear is basically 20.

The original beige-brown gears crumble over the years and have to be replaced.

After removing it, please count the teeth of the smaller gear and order the corresponding gear in the shop. We have only made special offers for unequivocally known assignments (vehicle model to gear variant).

Advantages:
Our gears are injection molded from high quality thermoplastic material. This enables very good dimensional accuracy and an involute shape of the teeth, which run particularly gently on the partner gear.
We have all the gears for VDO and other speedometers in our program and can therefore deliver later or exchange incorrectly ordered gears if necessary.

Hints:
Digital = speedometer signal arrives electronically (the instrument cluster)
Mechanical = speedometer signal arrives in analog form via a speedometer cable

Buying a used speedometer may save repairs, but there is a risk that the gear will break soon. Storage times and cold temperatures in particular also damage the gears.
If you have disassembled the speedometer, we recommend replacing the lightbulbs. These lose noticeably in performance over the years. They are available at any car dealership and accessories store.
