An-225 "Mriya" - a Soviet transport plane jet ultra payload, developed by Yakovlev Design Bureau. Antonov. AN-225 is the largest plane. The first flights were committed by 21 December 1988. It is designed for transporting large loads weighing 250 tons inside the fuselage and external load at any point on the globe.
AN-225 "Mriya" was the heaviest aircraft in the world aviation history, had risen into the air-duty record, recorded in the Guinness Book of Records, was 254 tons. When this maximum takeoff weight (together with the weight of the aircraft) may be 640 tonnes. Legendary plane "Mriya" there is currently only a single copy.
